YOGA 

Regardless of age or level of fitness, yoga can help improve strength, balance, flexibility and calmness of mind. This class includes a blend of yoga movement (hatha and slow vinyasa), pranayama (yoga breathing techniques)  and relaxation.   The practices are gentle and slow paced using a range of movement.  Moving slowly helps to regulate the nervous system and build strength and mobility without strain or injury.  Students are encouraged at all times to move at their own pace. It is recommended that participants are able to sit on the floor and can get down/up from the floor. 

This class is suitable for anyone, including beginners and those who want to experience a gentle more mindful yoga practice. 

Please note this is a 75 minute class

REQUIREMENTS Students need to wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat, a yoga block, blanket or towel if preferred.  For students with any medical condition you must get clearance from your health professional before starting classes. Class not suitable for pregnant students.  Students must be able to sit on the floor and can easily get down/up from the floor
